COVID-19 Resources

To Our Huntsville CharityTracker Network Partners:

We want you to know that all of us involved with ELM’s Community Connections Project are thinking of you and so grateful for the collaborative work you are doing in our community. We understand that your primary focus right now is on keeping your organizations and clients safe in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic while still meeting urgent needs. As you do so, CharityTracker will be a great resource for you. Some of you may be working remotely as you continue to provide needed services from a distance. CharityTracker will also be an important way for you to stay connected with other agencies to do this good work.

We want to make sure you have the knowledge and capabilities you need to fulfill your charitable missions and still suppress the spread of COVID-19. To support you as additional and unexpected challenges arise, we are providing a link to a short ten minute webinar prepared by Simon Solutions on how to use CharityTracker in disaster relief. This video is a quick refresher on how to use CharityTracker as you respond to meet needs in crisis.

And please remember that you can add an unlimited number of users to CharityTracker at no cost. The primary user for your organization can just go to the Add User button at and put in the appropriate email address for a new user. In a crisis, we need as many people as possible working together to meet needs!

We now have over 160 organizations and almost 350 users on the Huntsville CharityTracker network. We are proud of the network we have created in Madison County advance of this difficult time. If we all work together, we will navigate through this challenge. A community crisis requires and community response. Thank you for the critical work that you are doing in our community and for being part of Community Connections.
All the best,

Jennie Robinson. Missy Hanks, and Jen Kinard

      About ELM

The ELM Foundation is a Private Operating Foundation that works to reverse the cycle of poverty by helping individuals and families set goals and create plans so that they can find the resources they need to support their families.

ELM is an acronym that stands for "Expect Little Miracles." We believe that people who are doing the best they can should be able to expect little miracles to help them bridge the gap.

ELM is a 501 (C) (3) organizations and contributions are deductible under section 170 of the IRS code.  Our unique funding model ensures that 100% of all donations go directly to help participants who can then "expect little miracles" in their journey to self-reliance and economic independence.

What makes The ELM Foundation different from other non profits?
  • 100% of operational expenses covered up front by founders

  • Rigorous application and intake process identifies participants who are most likely to succeed

  • Intensive case management supports successful outcomes

  • Accountability for development plans helps keep participants focused

  • We get exceptional results

  • We offer operational and financial accountability

But being different only matters if you make a difference. Learn more about the differences our "Little Miracles" make.

Grants Process

We create "Little Miracles" through grants to individuals with high potential who are doing the best they can and need help removing barriers to success. Grant applications are made available by referral only.

Education Grants

Education grants are designed to provide "gap funding" for students who have accessed personal and family resources, grants and scholarships, and still need "Little Miracles" to pay their education expenses.

Ways to Give

Help us create "Little Miracles" in the lives of people with demonstrated need, promise, and potential. 100% of your gift goes to our programs!
